…But I can only rate these shoes 4 stars. I only got to wear them a few times before my dog’s self-control gave out and he found himself hiding in my shoe closet, having a midnight snack. But I digress.From what I can recall of our brief but beautiful time together, these shoes were about 99% comfortable. There’s about a 1/4” buckle loop that is made of metal that digs right into the ankle bone. That 1% of discomfort is a very annoying 1%, hence the docked star. That said, until they were eaten, I kept going back to them because they were so gosh darn delicious. Apparently Baxter thought they were, too.
