The quality of these Birkenstocks was as good as expected but they were just too long for me. I ordered my normal (European) size. I think the problem may be that my foot is a little on the wide size. In shoes, a little extra length helps with the width. But in sandals with adjustable straps the extra length is not needed...and is, in fact, detrimental. So my advice is to pay attention to the length, not the width, when ordering these sandals. If in doubt, suggest ordering down.Had hoped these were made of suede but were the Birkenstock’s Birko material. They were too big.They are very comfortable! Pain caused by most other shoes are gone with these!My first pair of Birkenstock sandals and I’m in love.
