My problem was not with the actual shoe but with vionic sizing…shoe was super cut and so wishes it would have fit but I needed a whole size down then what my vionic sneakers and they where out of stock.Pretty shoe that closely resembles something I would wear before ha moving to have orthotics and support. It is comfortable for the most part, but does get uncomfortable around the heel if I wear them for a longer period of time. I originally order my TTS 8 1/2 and in a wide as recommended by my podiatrist, but had to go down to an 8 M.I have very bad plantar fasciitis. I have had three very painful injections in my heel and am ready to get out of my tennis shoes. I asked my podiatrist which shoes I should consider and her first answer was Vionics! These shoes literally cradle my foot with such amazing support, and I can wear them for an extended period of time too! I HIGHLY recommend them! VERY pleased!Ok, so first off they are really cute on. I may even keep these, BUT, the top straps on the right shoe are way too wide. As pictured, I can put 2-3 fingers between my foot and the straps. Tightening the ankle strap does not help, as it just pushes your foot forward and off of the arch support (not to mention looks really weird). The left shoe fits perfectly fine. The right one definitely wobbles around when I walk in them. I’ve been so desperate to find a cute pair of comfortable black dressy sandals, and can’t seem to find anything cuter than these which is why I may still keep them.Cute shoe. I like the versatility of working with skirts, shorts and pants. Very comfortable right out of the box. Prefer the white color to the black color. There's a reason a hundred-dollar sandal costs less than half.. Per other reviewers, the buckle on the outside of the foot painfully snaps onto the area before the ankle, partially due to the elastic, when you complete a step. I even tried moleskin without success. Just walking up and down the carpeted hallway produced immediate redness in that area. So - sadly, they have to go back. I've not had this kind of design problem with Vionic before.Size wise, I normally wear 8.5/39 (9.75" foot) but frequently 8 in Vionic. The 8.5 was slightly too long and also the midfoot strap much too wide, as many others mentioned. Somewhat clunky when walking. The insole is smooth, but only up to the ball of the foot. What happens with the microfiber after you wear it a while, it makes unsightly dark spots where your toes rubbed on it, and becomes rough to the point you have to file it down with pumice, so I avoid those insoles now.I have a black pair I love but this white pair fits weird.I have read a lot of reviews that ladies think this sandal runs wide. I have a normal width foot that maybe leans toward the wider side. Wide width's generally too wide for me so this sandal fits me just right. True to size otherwise. I would say if you have a narrow foot you might not like how this sandal fits. I love how it fits on me and is stylish and comfortable!
