I typically wear a 11 women’s in normal width, but when I tried my daughters 11’s on in this style, my 2nd toe was touching the raised part at the front so I decided to order a 12. There weren’t any 12’s available in a normal width, so I went ahead and took a chance on the wide width. Especially since the straps are adjustable. They fit great and I’m pleased with my purchase.I wasn't sure about these when I first got them, but I quickly changed my mind. I bought them just before I took my young family to Disney. I broke them in a week before. By the time we got to Disney, I wore them all day. They were/are so comfortable!!! Admittedly, my feet hurt a little by the time we got back to the hotel, but not because of the shoes. I think it was more likely from carrying two young boys around the park all day. I wore them every day this summer. I think they are, by far, the best pair of sandals I have ever owned.I ordered medium but received narrow. I have a wide foot and the edges of the cork sole irritate my feet.These are the most comfortable shoes. I will be buying moreI’ve had to replace all of my shoes due to plantar fasciitis that is stubborn. These are very comfy just a tad too long but they still fit well.I wore these for literally two days they were already coming apart horrible quality. I own several Birkenstocks and they never have ever been this low of a quality I don’t know what the issue is or if it was just a defect with my pair but be careful buying theseSadly this product was not up to normal Birkenstock standard - bought at the end of last season; not really worn until last weekend - and broke on wearing. Supplier very unhelpful re return and replacement despite being within the 6 month window for this.My toes are too long and my arch is too high for a size 7, I made that mistake with my last pair of Birkenstocks. A size 8 fits incredibly comfortably on me however and doesn't bruise my toes or give any foot pain from the arch support being in the wrong place. There is almost an inch spare at the back of the insole though, which can look a bit silly and made me walk funny till I got used to it and adjusted my gait. Kinda wish it was easier to buy shoes that actually fit properly and were this comfortable and supportive without having to get them hand made but alas.Have been wearing Birkenstocks since the 1970s and in particular Mayaris since they were launched. I keep several pairs (of all colours) as standby so that when one pair is relegated to garden shoes, I always have a replacement in the wardrobe. Highly recommendedReally pleased with the Birkenstock mayari since wearing these my feet have not been painful at all. I suffer with plantur faciitus and was suffering a lot since wearing these I have not suffered.Love these sandals, no toe post. Good value, i wear these all through the nice weather. It takes a couple of weeks for the footbed to mould to your foot, after that they feel as if they are made for you.
