THE LUXURY OF THE HANDCRAFTED Crafting authentic Spanish espadrilles is truly an art form. At Viscata, we use traditional artisan techniques with an attention to detail that is so rare these days. All of our shoes are handmade in a boutique workshop in Spain where craftsmen still hand wrap the all-natural jute and sow each shoe with care. We combine this centuries-old craftsmanship with natural materials and a beautiful array of colors and a gorgeous selection of styles. CARING FOR YOUR ESPADRILLES  Easily take care of Viscatas espadrille flats and wedges by gently brushing the canvas with a little water and soap, then air dry the shoes in the shade. For the jute, trim the fibers around your espadrilles with scissors when needed. FITTING AND BREAKING INTO YOUR ESPADRILLES Out of the box your espadrilles might be a little tight. This is OK.
